Description

its my first try of pastel pencils on wood.
not very accurate and messy in color mixing... but I liked to draw in color.

reference is taken from a beautiful gallery of MartinAmm . some day I'll draw his dragonflies - they're peerless.

I saw your comment on the photo you mentioned you referenced, and I must say you did a very great job with the detail and the color. I think having it on the wood adds a nice touch to the piece also. ^^ Great Job!
