Medium: Graphite, Acrylic

Created: March 2023

Espresso was created as part of a series I call “White on Black” in which I used primarily white pencils on black paper. This piece uses only white, pink, and brown graphite pencils as well as white acrylic for some accent. In this piece, I tried to maintain a mix of both highly realistic drawing as well as leaving some parts less finished - representing that all art and all people are perfectly imperfect.

I have a deep love for coffee. I hope to share this piece with coffee lovers and art lovers alike.
