...she might have been called Ember.

Sometimes fan speculation goes in weird and wondrous directions...like a week or so ago when some friends and I discussed what Cynder's original element could possibly have been. I like to think she was a fire dragon, and someone suggested the idea of what her name might have been if she hadn't been taken by the apes... And one thing led to another.

Who knows, maybe Cynder is Ember's Legend-verse counterpart, turned black by the Dark Master's evil magic and stolen of her original element, her personality twisted from the happy-go-lucky, kind-hearted innocent she might have been.

Or maybe we're just nuts.

Cell shading! This is the second time I've attempted cell shading and liked it enough to keep it. The first is a picture that I'll post after chapter 20 of Firelight, for certain spoiler-y reasons... I'm still getting the hang of this shading style, but I like to think it looks okay.
