Description

This is for a two-part commission. I was asked to create two mermaid paintings inspired by the vintage work of the wonderful artist Sarah S. Stilwell Weber in my own style. The original images were shown on Collier's magazine covers in the early 1900s.

I was very grateful for the excuse to work on some art I have been so tied up in my doll business and sculpting that I haven't had time to paint in a very long time until this opportunity came.
