Here's me clearing my hard drive again!

This is another sketch, that's pretty much in line with the other one I just submitted (Pastels on recycled paper). This one has a lighter story behind it.

Two weeks ago I was late to my Karate class, so instead of my usual bus trip I took the London Undeground, thinking it was going to get me faster to my destination (big mistake!).

I was standing next to the door, and the train was really packed...I was quite annoyed by the stop-n-go rhythm of my journey, when this Asian looking girl got on the train (Asian in the British sense). She was listening music at ear splitting levels and everyone could hear her playlist loud and clear.

I found the situation quite funny because in the distance bewteen two stations she went through Hardcore Trance, Bollywood Soundtrack and Emo. By the time I got off she was headbanging (literally) to Trash Metal. She didn't give a damn about other people and she was actually dancing at some point.

Aside from the story above, the sketch is just an attempt at a pastel portrait, she didn't look anything like that...I tried a few sketches, but this is the one that crystalized best.

I guess this drawing is not a tribute to the noisy passenger but to enthusiasm for music in general.
