Wario's best friend and next door neighbor neighbor. She is twenty-two years old (as of "Diamond City Crisis") energetic, fun-loving, and has a big heart. She the head of a band called the Hot Slices, and often works part-time jobs with her friend Joe. After she graduated high school, her parents went abroad with their careers, but they do come home for holidays and birthdays. Mona misses them, but she's happy they're living their dreams.

To many people's surprise, Mona is in love with Wario. She looks beyond his rugged exterior and sees the precious gem he is on the inside. Mona has joined him a few times on his adventures, which has strengthened their bond. Wario even confided in her about the suffering his mother put him through when he was a child, and Mona has been a great comfort to him. Both of them are also concerned for Ashley and try to provide her with support and friendship.
