Ok, I wanted to make an emoticon for chat use before New Years. After I made a pretty cool animation which was ~210x200 pixels I was told to make chat friendly emoticons only of the size 20x20 pixels. No problem I figured, since it is just 1/10th of what I did. After resizing it lost all its details though, so I ended up doing a new emoticon (okok...it is not an emoticon but an animation, whatever) from the scratch. I added as much detail as I could after that disappointment.
I also found out, that emoticons can not be used in chat right away, so I don't know if it will ever be available and how it can be made available.
