Sorry for the long wait. I had this in storage for a while and forgotten about it. I was encouraged to work on this again when people saw the other scouts and demanded Sailor Jupiter.

However, the drawing itself was a bit tough, because with every one of these scouts I wanted to challenge myself with perspective, motion, and dynamics. I think the hardest part for me is to maintain the 2D likeness, since I really like painting things.

For Sailor Jupiter's design, I wanted to give her gauntlets because she punches and kicks a lot. Her gauntlets are also wired so that she can use her "Jupiter thunderclap." I wanted to give her a tough look because she's the strongest fighter in the inner scouts, but she looks like she's borderline evil lol (sorry). Instead of her side hair, I changed them into wires instead, and gave her headphones for when she uses "Supreme thunder." Makoto's hair ties were supposed to be green in her original design, but I thought it makes more sense if they were pink for when she uses "Flower Hurricane" or "oak evolution." Harkening back to her first original design of her mask, it was more football mask-like. However, I felt like it was too masculine, and reduced it down to another hologram mask as I did for Mars. To maintain some reminisce of her original design for her shoes, I didn't cover her knees but given her short boots instead. I thought about giving her lighting belts instead of a flat belt, but I think the continuity between the previous images would be lost if I did. So I stayed simple and clean.
Her sleeves are different compared to the previous two, because..well lighting conduct better in coils right? Am I nerding out too much? You can unwatch me now.
