The Ducks were in the water in the most awkward of places. They especially havea fondness for the water surrounding the Lion habitat :O Nothing happened while we were there, so very happy with that.

Species: Mallard or Wild Duck (Wilde eend)

Latin name: Anas Platyrhynchos

Originates from the temperate and subtropical Americas, Europe, Asia and North Africa, and has been introduced to New Zealand and Australia.

Current status: Least Concern
