Waiting For JuneBug 2 by Mr-Marcus-81 on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

If you saw my most recent Status Update, you'll see that I alluded to a major life event that I am about to embark on. I've only shared it with maybe one or two folks here on DA, but here's the major announcement: the major life event that I'll be soon embarking on is PARENTHOOD...I'M GONNA BE A DADDY TO A LITTLE BABY GIRL!!!!!! :excited: :w00t: :w00t: :excited: At the day and time of posting this, my wife is 39 weeks pregnant...and LITERALLY earlier this morning was advised to induce labor!!!! So tomorrow evening we'll go in to get my wife inducted and at that point it will be a matter of time before my daughter is here!!! Fun Fact: "Junebug" is what my wife and I have been calling our daughter since we first were told that she was due on June 2, 2021 (we haven't decided on her actual name yet)...while it looks like she'll likely be here somewhere between 5/28-5/30, she's still our little Junebug and so excited for her arrival! :XD: :XD: :XD: :XD:

I actually attempted a render series similar to this months ago to announce our pregnancy, but didn't follow through The Lovebirds by Mr-Marcus-81...my wife didn't like the model and hairstyle that I chose for her digital likeness, so I kinda lost interest for a while. Recently, she wanted me to render a cartoony version of her for a business idea that she has (Coming Soon...the render and the business :D ) and she absolutely loved the results; the skin tone is a bit lighter and "redder" than my wife's actual skin tone but it's pretty spot on for the most part. So I took that model (Destini for The Girl 8 for you Daz Headz), dialed down the Girl face morphs, cranked the pregnancy morph dial to 100% and used some poses from this Expecting/Pregnancy Pose and Morph pack www.daz3d.com/z-expecting--pre… , and voila! As for my digital representation...I don't think it looks like me at all (actually...this one here looks kinda like me), but this was the only model and hair that looks similar to me. And I couldn't figure out an effective way to give myself a few gray patches of hair in my beard and hair...there was some noise left behind, so I created an opaque layer over the noise and it kinda works...I guess. The shirt and jeans definitely look like something I'd wear, though!!!

So, if I'm not as responsive here on DA in the next few days-weeks, this is why. Lord willing, I'll be back soon in as close to full-force with more of that cybergirl goodness that you've come to know and love!!!
