Despite it being the common skull icon for Bullet Blasters and poison water signs and some flags in the Mario franchise, there's no need to change the image on the SMG3 models or fanart; this revamped version for 2020 is more like a family crest, for a team, as his Kart icon, on a castle or...something. I dunno...
