Guillermo Del Toro's Wind In The Willows (My Take)

Next up on the docket is a cancelled project of Guillermo Del Toro, Kenneth Grahame's The Wind In The Willows (more info here https://cancelled-movies.fandom.com/wiki/The\_Wind\_in\_the\_Willows) Personally, I had to do this one because The Wind In The Willows is one of my favorite childhood stories. However, if I was going to do this right, I had to do it in a completely unique, Guillermo Del Toro style way and after some deep thinking, I came up with something pretty intriguing. Anyhow, here's what I came up with... -The movie will be a dark but still intriguing one that has themes of racism and how it effects others (yeah, I’m going there). Basically, the animals live in a segregated society on the riverbank and looked down upon by humans for being different. The only exception they tolerate is Toad due to him being wealthy and the Toad Family’s money having provided a majority of the human town’s income. In fact, the real reason the weasels, stoats, and ferrets take over Toad Hall
