As far as raw technique, things like colouring, lighting, shading etc., this is pretty good on it's own. At this point, detail will be what makes this a great piece, and not just a good one. You might want to sharpen the area around the wings and chest, maybe add some texture. The face is good and doesn't need any additions. The left part of the chest seems to be a bit misshapen, but that might not be the case, this is fantasy after all. Other than that I can't think of any other additions you would need to make. Great job!
