Well that background isn't obnoxious at all.
Another of my Christmas gifts~!
This is a picture that's dedicated to ~ She's been on a Grumps binge for quite a while now and she loves Danny, so who better to draw to fuel her obsession than the lovable not-so-grump? This was...quite the amalgamate of styles; I added a bit of wazzaldorp which is actually who inspired me to start the piece in the first place - The music note hair floaty was pretty much the entire reason I made this andyoucanbarelyseeitwhatismylife /u\ - and then there was the Steven Universe style I've been wanting to try out anyway, 'cause I mean, have you seen chibi Dan and Steven next to each other? Yeah. Plus bright colours and soft lineart are my jam lately, I just need to figure out how to make them myself. And of course I added in my own style, 'cause things yes. Can't go wrong with sweaters and floofy hair, and I guess the background didn't turn out....awful. Just busy. I also decided to do all the colouring and shading on one layer because sometimes you just hafta be mean to yourself, except one shade layer for Dan's face since if I did it on the same layer I would've messed up his 5 o'clock shadow. That background was all one layer, too, why do I do this to myself. Well, either way.
