"Dragons are one of the few beings that can traverse the expanse between dimensions at will.
As such when the Arcane researchers were looking for way to bring champions to this work, scores
of dragons were hunted for their magical blood, as it was a key ingredient in the process of portal creation.
It was an ingenious Lung Dragon however that began to bottle and sell their blood for gold. That lead
to a lucrative blood trade that still exists to this day."
