Description

Another fan art - Thranduil from The Hobbit by Tolkien. Oh my god it's finally done! I wanted to draw him for so long! But I really couldn't, each of my feeble tries were pitiful and weird. This is the first depiction I really believe it done him a bit of justice. It took me really long and a had to use a ton of reference photos (this was the main one: secure.static.tumblr.com/ff7d0… ) but I finally finished it.
I will probably return to touch up his armor later, but right now I just cannot deal with it, keeping ruining it instead of improving it whenever I want to fix it, so I guess it will need a bit of time and distance before another try.
