The thing I like about the Magic School Bus is just how silly the characters are. They're all their own extreme. I recently rewatched "Gets Eaten" and I don't know if kids (like how old I was when the episodes first aired) would have caught on to the fact that DA brought both her and Carlos's assignments... i.e. she did his homework for him. And Tim... instead of just bringing a rock, he drew an elaborate portrait of one, lol, nerd. He's the engineering nerd where DA is the book nerd... I think

soooo.... What if Frizz tried to teach them a little about psychology? Starting with the simple question: is the glass half empty or half full? We have Keesha: the eternal pessimist, who's best friends with Phoebe: the eternal optimist. I threw in Janet just for fun: the bragger. My dad first told me the engineer's point of view on the subject, so Tim gets that line (tho I think it was originally just "the glass is twice as big as it needs to be"). Ralphie: the conspiracy theorist. DA: the book nerd, Arnold: the worrier, Carlos: the clown, Wanda the: I don't care how much water there is in here as long as there's enough to splash Carlos, and then the Frizz

I had fun playing with a different style... and drawing the kids as kids in their normal outfits, how often do I do that??
