Backstory:
He is a hybrid of a extinct human-like alien species (tech-sapiens)that can understand and replicate any technology that they see(the higher the tech level the more they don't understand),Jackson Chronos is the son of a May Chronos(a tech-sapien) who was a ex-Plumber and friends with Max Tennyson,after an accident that killed both his parents,Max "adopted" him after that and taught him everything he knows(weapons,aliens,technology in general,galatic laws since he already knew about Plumbers,years passed and he met Gwen and Ben in the summer vacation,after they met Kevin he decided to re-create the Omnitrix since he started to understand way more about the Omnitrix which it was upgraded in Mt Rushmore in the episode "Secrets", after the beginning of Season 3(after the Ben 10,000 episode) his Proto-trix bugged and transformed him in a mutation of his most used aliens(greymatter,heatblast,upgrade,four arms,xlr8,cannonbolt)(maybe will draw mutated version later)and made him to hide himself(but helped the group when needed),in Secret of the Omnitrix he went to space because he thinks Azmuth can cure him,Azmuth also not only cured him but also took him as his student not only because Jack wanted(to understand more about the watch) but because him wanted to see with Jack would manage to understand everything,he later was cured and finished his omnitrix prototype one year later.
Proto-Trix:
Works like Ben's Omnitrix but worse like:
1:Time in alien form is half and so is the alien storage(only 5 aliens)
2:Gives him the wrong alien more often than Ben's
3:His aliens is an exact duplicate of Ben's aliens
4:Always let a little bit of Alien DNA in his DNA after turning back to normal
(some of this problems (1 and 2) were "fixed" after the episode "Secrets" when he upgraded his watch with Plumber Tech)
