Words do not describe how happy I am with this! I am so proud of how everything turned out. I spent a great deal of time on the line art, and making sure everything was perfect. (I even used the anime, paused, for reference, which is often something I'm too lazy to do. Especially while coloring) The only thing I'm not extremely pleased with is the fact that I think Mantaro's glow is a little hard to see because of the background. I like the background too much to get rid of it, and I fixed Mantaro's glow as best I could. I used [link] to help me with the backgrounds (Once I figured them out, I changed them around a bit and made them my own). I spent a lot of time with the coloring and shading of every character in this pic, and with the backgrounds themselves. I've thought about adding text, and I may. I'm not sure what, though. Either change the lightning bolt in the center a bit and add a "VS" between them. Or add the text from the commercial: "Friend vs. Foe. Prince vs. Knight. Mask vs. Muscle." Or something else. I didn't want to ruin the image with bad text, though, and since I couldn't figure it out I decided to use none at all. (Also, with those crazy backgrounds I'm not even sure if the text would be all that visible.) I hope you like it!
