I've made a fall costume for the chilly city weather
I REALLY hope it is true to character!
(full view has quite a lot of detail)
DETAILS (how to layer one for yourself, since Halloween is fast approaching)
-6 pieces (three for the skirt, three for the top)
-Beneath everything is a spaghetti strap, simple, black formal dress (the skirt is very thick so it is a good base for all the flimsier materials over it)
-Over that, on the bottom, is a gun-metal silver skirt (cotton, polyester, lycra) that I've pinned up on the inside to create a weird ruffled look
-the outermost layer of the skirt is a fragile layer of black silk, gathered a bit.
-The collar of the shirt is part of a ruffled blouse (which you don't really need, but in the wind and the cold, sometimes even the most scandalous of death eaters need to cover up (hehe).
-Over that is a LONG blouse with gathered sleeves and a swooping neck (buttons along the stomach)
-The final layer of that is a corset (this one has a black elastic back)
-Also, the wig is two pieces. The base (front and neck) is a full wig. I've attached a cluster of separate pieces to the back to get a bit of madness going on.
-The shoes are knee high combat boots. If I walk shorter distances, I'd wear a heeled ankle boot I think.
Basically, the corset cinches all the wilder pieces together. It has a very high waist this time, which is a bit different for me. The entire thing is thrifted
