Description

A colour theory sample for (hopefully) an Aquatopic for the group

Do 2 compositions exactly the same and then paint one in warm colours and one in cool colours.

Even though the scanner destroyed the cool violet background on the right hand sample (its a lot bluer in real life), you can still see how different it looks from the warm one on the left. The warm colours seem a lot more energetic and 'jump forward', while the cool colours seem more calming and 'recede'.

Watercolour on paper.
