Sup Katie, anyways I guess here's my not so helpful critique.

S to start I guess il start with the negatives.
I think something that will help you out with your shading is following your light source. The light source here is obvious, it's in the top right corner. Some of the shading around the legs shouldn't be there since he's facing the front and his two arms and other leg block the light from reaching his left leg. I understand the glowing box. But it's blue and more dim, so try shading with a blue tone Instead of white. Also don't abuse the soft brushes. Adding too much softness to the eyes doesn't make it look that awesome. Also this is just a tip, but if you want your oc too look more sad and upset you can have his ear go further down or bop his head lower.

But onto the positive. I really like the atmosphere of and setting of the picture and night pool is a total cutie. I lim the color scheme too. Keep up the good work!
