Gotta wonder what its level of awareness is...

I remember I found a dead dragonfly and I wanted to keep it's wings. Removing them was quite hard. I had to use a scalpel to crack its "shell" and they were attached to very musclely looking muscles. Large and pink.

That was over 2 decades ago and I still have the wings framed.
