as the title says
an excavation piece for NeochmiaPhaeton of their 3 kiddos for a prerie geno....transfer still not made....

of course I had to go overboard because I was simply not happy with the lighting I did in the first draft and then that lead to painting and here we are now

Explanation of image: Little Avocet is worried about going into the new cave opening they discovered, while the to prairie kukus are fine....but then again, who may turn out to be a better asset if smaller spaces are found later on? Those 9ft bipeds sure wont be!

It seems like every time I do a full piece I end up re-learning how to light things and etc, expecially when I primarily opt to paint with sai -everything- , but then that leaves me with needing to fix colours and the the program just doesn't offer the variety I need, so I finished it up in photoshop checking the midtones, and here we are! ( sorry for rambling, but I figured I might let you guys in on the process)
