I found out that my best friend and I do the same thing when we're playing The Sims - we only allow one or two Sims per household to level certain skills. Whenever I would see anyone other than my cooking-Sims go anywhere NEAR the stove, I would literally have them STOP IMMEDIATELY. Even if they were in the red on their hunger scale.

Ain't nobody gonna level their cooking skill 'cept me. Ain't nobody.
