I suspect a BIG reason Yoda’s people are SO secretive, as a whole, is because they know how much damage JUST one of them could do if they ever fell to the Sith. The Sith’s biggest weakness is their penchant for betrayal getting them in their own way, and then keeping their apprentice, however he takes over, to stick to their long term projects without changing them too much. But one of Yoda’s species? He can afford to put off taking an apprentice for CENTURIES and get a lot accomplished without constant fear of being betrayed ! MUCH more dangerous!
