Victoria was a genre-savvy girl. She understood the laws and mechanics of her world, Kolkir. She even knew about the 12 deities that ruled over everything. Victoria was also a big suck-up. She would pray morning and evening, she thanked them often for every good gift they gave her. Now, the gods of Kolkir aren't normally used to this kind of affection, and many of them barely paid attention. The wilderness goddess Taithir was the first one to acknowledge their noble follower. As a gift, Taithir blessed her with the spirit of a graceful cat. Of course there were drawbacks to this: hairballs, obsession with stringy things, cityfolk panicking at the very sight of Victoria... Taithir, being a generous (if not slightly stupid) goddess, sent animal spirits to protect Victoria, who soon became a legend among the villages the frequented. Her time as an outcast didn't last long, as she used her new-found skills to become a master hunter.

Cat girls are so overdone these days, yeesh. So I've obviously got to make one! This one took a few days, about 10 hours total? I considered using a higher-resolution version of the image, but I had to be realistic with myself (I probably wouldn't have the time or patience to take on a project that required such levels of detail).
