Description

“Il Ricetto di Candelo” (Piemonte- Italy) is a popular collective fortification built in the XIV century. In time of war or danger the fortified village served as a temporary shelter for the whole population with precious belongings, while in time of peace it was used as a warehouse or cellar for the production and the conservation of the wine.
