Seriously, I like your lighting with this character, Oney. I have only seen a few G8/8.1 model results, but I think they look just a bit more realistic in general than previous iterations of the basic DAZ empire. Your model just reinforces my opinion... not that there is anything wrong with all your past work. I just think this is going to be a natural evolutionary process for you, and I look forward to more!
