We are reactivating this group starting August 17, 2024. Welcome back!

Although the focus of this group is one of the shakesperian iconic characters, Ophelia (from "Hamlet"), also interest us the most beautiful pieces of art on topics related to Ofelia own such as the representation of other literary characters, flowers, death, melancholia, gothic atmospheres, with emphasis on the artistic quality of the artwork exposed.

Hey, I'm kind of sorry to have left as a contrubutor and member, but I do not feel good anymore in this group, because to me, the choices seem random – I know this has also to do with taste, and it isn't a fit anymore –, because I didn't get to vote on anything anymore, and because I strongly oppose "AI", as it is partly based on art theft, does not in any way represent an artistic achievement by those who use it, and is desastrous to our planet.

First of all, I am very sorry about your decision to leave the group, especially now that it is difficult to find active groups on DA and I have just reopened this one that was abandoned for 4 years. Your dislike of AI is not only legitimate, it is shared, but as the founder of this group I have had to face a wave of AI work and I have taken down much more AI than you can imagine, and I stick with what is halfway acceptable. AI is prevailing on DA and I understand that this is unfair, but we must not overlook the fact that a percentage of this resource is quite good, even if it is a very small one. I don't know what else to say. The day you want to return you will be very welcome and I promise to take your comments into consideration, I will not let them fall on deaf ears. Kind regards.
