Tinkerbelle in the Woods by Ornaterra on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

While walking through the forest today, I sensed I was not alone. From the corner of my eye I glimpsed a beautiful, tiny fairy hovering just behind me. She had shapely, lovely legs and she wore a cute little soft fabric blouse and short skirt. She had a magical, luminescent glow too that made her tiny form stand out from the lush surroundings. Sometimes I could even hear the gentle flutter of her gossamer wings. It sounded like the fast beating wings of a dragonfly. I could see the hint of a smile on her pretty face too. She liked me.

I liked her too. She followed me for an hour or more. Truthfully, there was such a magically charged sensation that I lost all track of time.

Finally, she flew in front of me and alighted on a tiny moss covered branch, beside some enchanting, tiny mushrooms. She smiled, winked, and nodded at me. I could swear she was inviting me to take her picture. Without any hesitation, I fumbled for my phone, so excited I almost dropped it. Then I clumsily fixed the settings and got this picture of her.

She laughed merrily afterward. Her laughter was tiny and mirthful, almost mouse-like, but thoroughly enchanting.

Then she took me completely by surprise. She whizzed across the 5 feet separating us, flew right up to my astonished face and gave me a tiny kiss on the cheek. My whole body was electrified with her incredibly loving energy that made me feel better that I ever have before. Then in her tiny, high-pitched voice she invited me to meet her again in this very spot tomorrow afternoon. With that, there was a delicate popping sound and a gold, sparkly flash of light and she was gone.

Now I'm counting the hours for tomorrow. I want to bring her a gift. What do beautiful woodland fairies like? What's her name? Can I hold her in my hand? I will have to wait another day to find out all this and more!
