I cringe every time Squilf gets distraught over Bramblestar. Your abusive husband is gone! What are you crying about? You’re finally free! I hate how the Erins bend over backwards to tell us that Squirrelflight and Bramblestar have this unbreakable bond or something when he consistently abuses her. The dude has her completely trapped, until Ashfur finally got rid of him. I’m praying he won’t come back, although I haven’t read the newest book yet.
