Excellent painting !!! You do some great work !!!! When they filmed the movie Tora Tora Tora there were no flyable Japanese aircraft of that period, they used "A series of Val replicas was made from Convair BT-15 trainers" ( from Planes of Fame Air Museum at : https://planesoffame.org/aircraft/plane-BT-155 ) . Now there is only one flyable Zero left in the whole World .

When the war ended all the Japanese Officers who carried Samurai Swords they were told to give them up and they were all melted down. Some were many generations old and still into the fire they went. Such a waste. Some however were shōwatō --- Made during the war and were not valuable in Japan ( in fact outlawed now but those swords are valued in the outside world for many $ .
