Hikaru is a caring boy who enjoys the little things in life. He's often seen zoning out and staring at the sky when he's in class. His classmates don't like to interact with him because he gives the impression of a delinquent. Sadly, he attracts the wrong types of people too, often getting stopped in the streets because he 'glared' at someone.

Hikaru has a scar that goes down his left eye cause by his cat while he was still sleeping. Hikaru helps his step-mother with the housework, he also has two younger step-sisters who are currently in elementary school. Hikaru's mother died after giving birth to him so his father named him 'Hikaru' after the word light (I used katakana because I don't like writing kanji ).

He likes to hide his scar with his hair because he doesn't want people to be able to see it clearly. However, this leads to a few misunderstandings that he himself is no aware of. He really likes to cook and listen to music. He usually makes lunchboxes for his friends that have to buy their own food during lunch.

The best way to describe him would be timid. Hikaru isn't the best with interacting with girls so he's earned the reputation of being the 'creepy delinquent'. He's afraid that if his classmates found out about his true nature their expectations would be ruined so he only acts like himself when he is with his friends. He doesn't like to step outside his comfort zone even though he has the potential to. Track team members try to scout him because they think he would be a good asset to the club. However, they have not convinced him to join yet because he runs away at the sight of them.

Hikaru is quite forgetful and often forgetting his textbooks at home. So to be safe he has made a pencil case that attaches to his belt so he doesn't forget it by accident. Although the only thing he doesn't forget is to pick up his sisters after school.
