Description

Art, in and of itself, is a fine line. It's that tension between passion and perfection. And no specific type of art is directly in the middle.
If you're a sculptor, you lean waaay more towards perfection. One wrong impact (or chainsaw stroke, if that's your thing) and the whole project is aborted.
If you're an improv comic or an abstract painter a la Jackson Pollock, you got a lot more room to roll with the punches and incorporate the seemingly unintentional and random into your work.
But none of them would exist without iteration, without the arduous process of honing your craft and learning from your missteps. And none of them would exist without speaking from the heart and being in touch with your current emotional state.
Art is a spectrum - never be afraid to try different points on it to see where you land.
