I admire your knife technique. The horizontally cut elements provide a landscape orientation to an otherwise tumult of brilliantly colored elements. Close scrutiny exposes interwoven layers and delicate fabrics inviting extended and rewarding viewership. The effect of the vertical wash presents a liquid dynamic and softens the tone and energy of the canvas. I don’t get an organic feel with this painting; more of an urban theme. There is much fodder presented to feed and poke the imagination. A wonderful work of art. Thanks for sharing.
