Description

This is what I have been doing instead of studying for my last final exam of the semester. I drew this one and colored it completely in Photoshop, and it appears that my recent practice has been paying off.

This is an early design for a character that is likely to appear in my webcomic, "Existentia Academica" (it can be seen here on dA or at [link]), which takes a satirical look at modern discourse on gender roles. She's going to be the sister of Francesca Greene, who was the underappreciated "brain" of the family, while Erica here is the college athlete with a full ride scholarship but no idea what she wants to do with her life.

I was going for a subtle air of confidence with this pose, melding a distinctive feminine charm with a powerfully dominant and alluring strength.
