Explaining In-between

In-between is a Star Wars fic about my favorite character Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Everyone who knows Star Wars, or at least the Prequel Trilogy, knows that at the end of Episode I, Qui-Gon was killed by Darth Maul. In Episode II, which takes place ten years later, we meet our new villian Count Dooku, a former Jedi and once Qui-Gon's Master. He's not a main character in the fic, but he's still a key character. Now, no one knows exactly when Dooku left the Jedi, only that it was sometime, not even a year, after Qui-Gon's death, which was the final push for him to leave. However, for the fic purposes, Dooku left sometime before the Blockade
