Jack and the Boy
Jack held the young man in a nerve hold pinching a little bit harder, feeling the lad suddenly cease his struggling. With that under control, Jack turned his attention to the young lady sitting on the ground in front of him, saying, “Are you hurt young lady, did he hurt you in any way?” Lidia Townsend looked up at Jack with fear in her eyes as she realized who’s property they had trespassed on. The stories and rumors she had heard growing up about this man, of all the places to be why did they pick this spot! “Please don’t hurt him mister Jack, we were just… things got out of hand! PLEASE DON’T KILL HIM!” Lidia pleaded as she burst into tears. “You’re not hurt?” Jack asked sternly as he looked her in the eyes. Seeing her scared indication that she wasn’t he finished saying, “Then go on, get your self together and go home. I saw your car over by the side road next to my damaged fence.” Lidia hesitated for a second scared of what Jack would do to Tommy but all of those thoughts fled
