Nice piece. I love how beautiful yet vaguely hellish the light behind this giant beast looks - having recently watched 'The Return of the King', that light behind the worm together with the barren landscape reminds me of the Eye of Sauron's bright-yellow searchlight tracking over Mordor's barren landscape. I think the writhing tentacles around that worm's mouth and the hellish light emanating from inside its maw also help to make it look more demonic and genuinely malevolent. And with how sharply the worm's upper-body is curving away from the intended path that the rest of its body seems to be, I get the impression that this monster is eerily attentive to its surroundings and on the lookout for prey including us, the viewer. Not helping the intimidation is that this worm looks very fat but also equally muscular.
