FNaF 2 Fan-Made Movie Poster by Playstation-Jedi on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Happy 10 Anniversary for FNaF, sorry I didn’t upload something to celebrate, I’ve been busy and never got round to it, but will instead save it for Halloween this year since 2014 Halloween is the first time I ever played FNaF.

I wanted to do another fan-made movie poster this time for the second movie, I’ve done quite a few of these now, so much so that cinemas are starting to use them to advertise the movies as I saw yesterday from reddit user u/No-Cantaloupe2602, thank you for posting that, it made my day.

I might turn this into game, make these posters look as legit as possible to try and trick cinemas into using them or to be found by a lazy employee and use them anyway.

I think we’ve all seen the new behind the scenes photos of the animatronics, the Toys all look great so far and they’re actually going with the withered designs from the second game, while admittingly it will be cool to see them on the big screen, but there is one major problem.

Since the movie I’m sure will be a sequel taking place after the events of the first movie, the movie NEEDS to provide an in universe explanation for the design change, some people have said this film will be a prequel, I could be wrong but I don’t think that will be the case because of the cast, I’m sure all the main actors will be returning in the sequel, if this film is going to be a prequal, the cast will need to massively change, get new actors to player younger version of the characters or new characters entirely, especially if the films takes place in 1987, about 13 years before the events of the first film. Some have suggested flashbacks, but I don’t think they’ll make these withered suits just for quick flash backs, they’ll want to use them throughout the film.

To save the headache, just make it a sequel, continue the story and since they are insisting on using those original withered designs, just come up with a simple in universe explanation as to why, maybe the animatronic’s endoskeletons got upgraded and were given new suits that fit with the new upgrades, maybe they can speak now, they were being tested on stage until the Toys came along, designed to be better than the originals in every way, with the originals now obsolete they were thrown into the back and left to rot, then the Toys enter the back room and begin to fight the classics because they are now under Springtrap’s control (That's why the toy's eyes are glowing purple), after they're done, the Toys leave the room with the classics withered and broken on the floor with Springtrap gloating in the distance, a scene like this can be the opening sequence.

Regardless with what they go with, there must be explanation, they cannot just ignore it and hope the general audience won’t notice or question it, because if they can point out all the problems from the first film, big and small, they will notice the new designs, they’re not stupid.

Besides it's clear the movies is willing to take creative liberties with the source material and don’t have to follow to story to the tee, last time I checked Vannessa wasn’t born during the FNaF 1 days and wasn’t Afton’s daughter, Abby never existed in the games and the 3 Afton children don’t exist in the movie continuity, also I’m sure Springtrap is going to be in the movie, he was teased in the last film so it makes sense to follow that up in the sequel. If Blumhouse want prequals, they should be non-numbered spin off movies that take place in the same continuity, but for the numbered films, to make things simple, have them take place after each other, I don’t want the films timeline to be as massy and broken as the games.
