Marielle, often called Maria by her peers, is a former journalist from Brasilia, Brazil. She was fired because she kept eating tourists and constantly getting into disputes with locals. She later moved to ZC where she applied to be a reporter for the ZCN. When she first ate someone while on camera, her popularity and the station's viewership skyrocketed. Her peers and superiors despise her selfish attitude, but the only one willing to tolerate her is her partner and cameraman. Despite her inflated ego, Marielle is a passionate journalist who's always striving to find a good story. She loves to show off her full belly to an audience.

Joseph McCarpenter, age 38 and currently divorced with one daughter. He's been behind the camera since he was an intern fresh out of high school at a studio in LA, California. After working there for over 10 years, he got married to his predator wife and they moved to ZC where they had their daughter, Melissa.
