[Nezumi: The road home]

The beginning of Gaara and Nezumi's journey to distant lands. After their engagement, Nezumi wanted to learn more about her origins before starting her own family. Gaara couldn't let her go on such a long journey alone, so they went together. Gaara barely managed to leave the post of Kazekage for this time, but for him this trip was a good chance to scout out the situation in territories where there are no shinobi, but other forces are active. For Nezumi, this is the first time she has seen snow, despite the fact that this is where she was born. Unaccustomed to such weather, Nezumi's hands quickly freeze and Gaara tries to warm them with his own. Such reverent interactions with each other throughout their journey bring the couple even closer.
