This picture was commissioned by :iconmrposslq:, one of my patrons who generously donates to my Patreon account, and therefore was eligble to get a commission without waiting in a queue.
This work features his OC Longhaul (this one hoverig while attached to the cart).
The pegasus laughing at the scene is Southern Comfort an OC who belongs to Magello (I was told to design her after Southern Comfort liquor and Southern Belle girls), who also supports me on Patreon. Her presence in this picture is a reward for his donations. If you want to have your OC included in my works, there is still one slot left (once per 2 months) - more details here.

Now, about this picture - MrPOSSLQ wanted a picture with his OC having such an 'accident' - the exact details were pretty much left to me (that's why I included Rarity - my favorite pony). It might look simple, but it was extremely difficult to get the perspective on a tilted cart right. I spent way too much time on this part only than I'm willing to admit. I thought I'd flip the table, but in the end, after meticulous and patient measuring, I made it look "good enough" (at least in my opinion, I might be wrong...). In the end I'm fairly happy with this picture.
Actually, such a situation might happen in real life, it's not just a cartoon gag - look for overloaded carts in google.
About the dialogue - Rarity's line refers to the famous MLP physics presentation, while Longhaul's line mentions a conestoga wagon, which is a type of a heavy covered wagon which was extensively used in 18th and 19th century.
Oh, and you can easily guess how Rarity got such a big load of crab meat.

Special thanks to VoidChicken for suggesting what might be written on the cargo, and for suggesting ideas for a title of this picture.

MLP and its characters belong to Hasbro. Longhaul belongs to MrPOSSLQ, Southern Belle belongs to Magello | 07/08 Aug 2014 EQD Drawfriend Stuff
