Borchardt C-93

A semi-automatic pistol developed by Hugo Borchardt and Georg Luger. It was the first functional application of the toggle lock system, and was chambered for a new, proprietary high-velocity caliber. Despite becoming the world's first mass produced semi automatic pistol, it failed to generate much interest from military buyers. Nevertheless, it served as the basis of the world famous Luger pistol, whereas it's caliber was the basis for the caliber used in the equally famous C96 pistol.
