Description

Gouken is an orphan that was found by a member of the Yoshida Clan, a group of ninjas that have been existing for many generations. Even though the Master accepted him as an honorary member of the clan, the other members was hesitant about having him there since he appeared to come from a mixed heritage; he is black and Japanese. But as Gouken got older, he was able to prove himself to the other clansmen that he was worthy of being a ninja by mastering all the 18 Disciplines (Skills) by the age of 10, which is the youngest age of mastery. He is known as "The Lethal Tiger" because of his swiftness and deadly strikes with his twin katanas.
