"So, in case you all are unaware, due to a certain controversy with the "original" creator of the inktober prompts and taking ideas; a lot of artists are cancelling doing Inktober this year, or doing a different art challenge such as OC-tober
But nah, I'm just gonna do my own thing anyway lol
With my inktober focusing on my own ocs and following a different art prompt list

So basically, I randomly picked some of my ocs (old, new, in-between, etc) and drew them in the given day prompt!"

So, Scarlet was always going to be drawn on the 30th; I mean, it IS her birthday after all! X3 and the prompt for today was laughing; and honestly, it gave me the perfect idea for her considering her backstory and character arc in season 2.
Basically, one major reason Scarlett is one of my favourite characters from this series is that her arc is a resistance to a common trope currently found in a lot of cartoons that I completely hate; mainly, instant reformations of horrid people and them getting Scott free with crap like abuse or overlord behaviour. Like White Diamond and HER for example. And I mean, while yes I do love my villains; I do not like when they get away with horrid crap and are praised for their great reformation even tho it's worthless cause they go back on their words. So, with Scarlett; due to her skin condition, she was mentally and emotionally abused by her parents who bullied her into hating her skin and to cover up to keep it hidden. Thankfully, she meets Gina, Delight, Marissa, Ebony, Damian, Figment and Dreamfinder and they help her find her happiness in her appearance and even help her stand up against her parents in a confrontation at the end of her character arc episode. But, I can imagine that someone at her acting school suggesting to her to forgive her parents cause they're her parents, only for Scarlett to burst into loud laughter at the idea of doing that since she's told by her therapist and friends and especially her girlfriend to not do that.
