It's interesting how much this piece changed from my original idea. First I had just thought of a scared and tattered horse finally escaping some cave it'd been lost in; then I added blue glowy water, then some wings, and then light from the top. And although I usually hate it when something doesn't turn out the way I'd first imagined, this time, it was all improvement. (:
I'm feeling quite proud of this one. That's all I can say. <3

Please, no critique is necessary. This is a fantasy piece, and after working so many hours on it, I really don't care if I missed some little detail.

Oh, and one thing: if you look carefully in the reflection, it sort of looks like she's flying with the stars. ^^
