The cart wobbled slightly as the gator-like monsters dragged it along the dusty trial. Inside were a dozen hostages taken from a few nearby villages. The cage was full, so the single lizardian driver decided to take the cart home while the others in his group continued to pillage the towns. Traveling alone out here was never the best idea, but the driver couldn't resist the huge payout he was sure to get for bringing an extra load back home. The humans all begged and bartered for their freedom. One attempted to escape, but he didn't get far. The lizard stopped the cart and came to the back of the wooden cage, finding the human hanging half out of the door. The lizard grabbed the man, pushed him to the front of the cart, and shoved him in front of one of the gators. It didn't take long for the gator to get rid of the inconvenience, and the bulging belly hanging between its legs was a good reminder to those who dared to try.

That was an hour ago. Most of the people had given up and sat down somewhere in the cage. The prisoners looked at each other with little hope of getting back to their homes. One man, who had a long face and was incredibly skinny, silently prayed under his breath. A larger man with pointed ears and a pig's noes shook the wooden bars slightly, hoping they would break. One had the face and skin of a wyvern, and he darted his emerald eyes around the cage at each joint looking for an imperfection. The only female was a pale blue colored elf. Of all the people here, she believed it was her fault. She was the daughter of a very rich and influential person in the town they were from. She saw the danger of the lizards and their predatory pets, but she kept her mouth quiet as her father wasted money on other, frivolous things. She felt if she had spoken up, something would have been done to protect them. Instead, the gates were left wide open for these lizards to take as they please.

She sat quiet in the corner, wishing and daydreaming about changing the past. A roar broke her stream of imagined memories. The people in the cage began to brace and shout at each other as a shadow swept over the cage. A single gunshot came from the driver's seat as the lizard fired a gun at the airborne attacker. The shape flew back around, green scales shimmered down on the wooden cage. Another loud shot came from the gun. The creature made a quick U-turn and went into a nose dive toward the cage. The people trapped inside feared for the worst and began ducking, diving, and trying to find a way out of the cage. The flying monster smashed into the wooden cage, knocking it on its side. Sand flew everywhere as the cage violently smashed on the burning ground. The door latch broke, the gators fled, and every other person was sprawled on the ground. The lizardman aimed at the creature again, who was recovering from the hit. The gun went off, but missed its target. The dragon pounced on the lizard, maw opened wide. The lizard, now the prey, could do nothing to stop the dragon from devouring him.

As the lizard's scaled legs kicked in the air in a hopeless effort of escape, the prisoners found their way out. They all ran for their lives across the hot sand and dirt, all but one that is. The blue woman was dazed as she watched everyone else run. She managed to get up and get out of the cage, but she was too dizzy to walk on her own. She held on to the cage as the world spun in her head. She looked over toward the commotion at the front of the cage. The dragon had finally worked the lizard down its throat and the bulge was just disappearing behind the chest plates. It turned its snake like neck and head toward the runners. From the looks of it, the green dragon was not quite satisfied with his catch and wanted more. It took a few steps in the direction of the running group and prepared to take off. Before it could unwrap its wings though, the corner of its eye noticed the blue woman drop to the sand.

She wasn't going to move, unlike the group that was already hundreds of feet away. Rather than work himself out, the dragon turned to the blue woman for dessert. She managed to look up long enough to see teeth and saliva coming closer to her.

This lizard's trip to get 'food' for his peoples' pets and predatory animals didn't work out quite as planned. As for the blue woman/elf; that's a bit of a mystery. If the dragon did eat her, I bet she was okay with it. She believed it was her fault all of them were in that position, and knowing the others would be safe was all she really cared about at that point. If the dragon didn't eat her, well, I couldn't guess what would happen next.

Mostly playing with some skins. And the other people I mentioned, like the wyvern man, pig noes guy, and the long faced man, I can in fact make. I now have several morph packs for genesis that make that possible. I love the genesis character for that reason: it can be morphed to make anything or anyone (for the most part. Some variations just don't work), and all of the clothes I have work on them.
