I made a Great Mouse Detective oc 🤭

Her name is Alexandria (Alex) Ratams

She's a rat (light grey with black spots) and embraces that fact, but she often gets mistaken for a mouse, much to her dismay. I thought it would be a fun contrast to Ratigan's situation

her tail is sometimes hidden under her skirt, she's in between Ratigan and Basil's height (about shoulderheight to Ratigan). Still pretty tall by mouse standards, especially for a woman, but due to her slender frame, the way she carries herself, and lack of proper rat representation throughout Mousedom, still gets her mistaken for a mouse.

She's quiet and reserved, a bit shy and doesn't go out of her way to talk to people, but will still speak her mind when prompted. She tries to carry herself with elegance and keeps a pokerface whenever she can, but can slip up under pressure. She's working on it.

Her family manufactures explosives and firearms, but they're pretty brash and shes trying to distance herself from being associated with them.

This doesn't stop her from getting mixed up with Ratigan's business though. I might make a comic about how they meet sometime
